In conformity with the objectives of TPPRC, the Centre organises several types of programmes. These include:
- Organizing workshops, seminars, lectures, group discussions, working groups, panel dialogues, colloquia (sometimes in collaboration with regional and international academic and cultural organizations) on current issues of national and international importance and publishing the output of its activities in the form of proceedings, monographs and books. Forming working groups on policy matters, recommendations of which are forwarded to the Tibetan Parliament and the Cabinet for information and consideration.
- Research on the policies for future Tibet. Undertaking studies of the history, culture, arts, economy, social, political and legal institutions of the Tibetan people.
- Workshops for members of the ATPD on subjects such as public accountability, constitutional systems, parliamentary procedures, and precepts and practices of parliamentary democracy.
- Documenting, publishing and distribution of the proceedings of the Tibetan parliament in exile.
- Organize programmes for the Tibetan Parliamentarians to maintain direct interactions and educate the masses.
- Workshops for community leaders, representatives from schools and local assemblies in order to update their political perceptions about Tibet in the context of the global scenario; training and orientation courses on various topics of importance to the community in exile.
- Camps and workshops for students and leaders of institutions and NGO's on development of leadership and communication skills, organizational capacity, youth mobilization etc.
- Engaging, informing and lobbying Indian Parliamentarians on the issue of Tibet.
- Conferences, seminars and regular lectures to inform and create awareness among Indian parliamentarians, press, individuals and organizations about issues related to Tibet.
- Bringing out various political publications in Tibetan, English, Chinese and other languages that are of relevance not only to Tibetans but also to Indians, Chinese and to the rest of the international community.
- International conferences for Tibet supporters, aimed at strengthening international Tibet support movement.
- Photo exhibitions held from time to time and at appropriate occasions and locations to showcase life and times of Independent Tibet, Tibet under Chinese occupation and Tibetans in exile. Inviting and organizing visits by prominent people to Dharamsala.
