Official Tibet group in both the chambers
Dr. Fodor Gabor, MP and Former Education Minister of Hungary. Dr Gabor has met His Holiness on a few occasions since 1993.
Member of Hungarian Human Rights Committee, he is one of the signatory to the resolution of June 24, 2004 that was submittted to the Hungarian Parliament urging the Parliament to help start negotiations between China and His Holiness the Dalai Lama on the new status of Tibet, which would ensure autonomy for Tibet politically, economically, socially as well as culturally. Dr. Fodor Gabor is Hungarian MP, who knows the Tibetan plight and follows the political developments in Tibet. He met His Eminence Sakya Trizin Rinpoche and Kalon Tripa Samdhong Rinpoche in 2002 and 2004 respectively.
